As political turmoil in the United Kingdom continues to lead towards the leaving of the country from the European Union, Portugal has spoken positively of plans to enlarge the union.
The Portuguese government said that it “welcomes” the enlargement of the European Union (EU) to include Northern Macedonia Albania, Serbia and Kosovo.
Portugal sees this enlargement of the Union as “a good thing”.
