The biggest Portugal yearly event started on Friday in Lagoa.
It is one of the highpoints of the Algarve summer calendar and attended by tens of thousands of people every year.
Fatacil – its official name the Fair for Handicraft, Tourism, Agriculture. Commerce and Industry – is this year in its 39th year and runs until 26 August.
Beside the standard hundreds of stalls featuring typical goods, foods and beverages from across the country, there will also be the usual live farm animal area and equestrian shows.
